We'd just finished riding the 250 cc Ossa GP II .-- three 0 f us had pretty well wrung it out- on a local practice The small fro nt hub provides good braking, but with a hefty lever pull. Forks are Beton with eight usable inches of trave l. track -- and we wer e giving it the old bat hro o m scal e te st. No Gas Beton worle OK for short motos; Pirelli k nobbies are mounted on the new " good"' shoulderless Akront alloy u rims. Simplicity is the key; th ere are no extra belt-ens on the Ossa. Everyth ing seems very well planned and construct ed for practicality and light weight .
