Dave's hardest competition came from Miller <. Manno's Mark Tyer. Mark won the first moto by a lo ng distance after Taylor stalled his bike early into the m oto . As th e pack t hinned out so did Reid's lead, as Bob Elliott p ulled up and finally passed the red Ho nda. Elliott went on to an easy moto win, Reid second. Vidic, and J ones taking the th ree-four positions. Elliott wasted . Iitt le time in taking over the second moto win as he dusted the pack with the st rong roost of his Suzuki. Vidic held down second until his Sweet Duck prepared Suzuki flew South for the moto , This let Reid by for second place followed by Gary Jones and his red framed Ammex, in third, and Whee1smith's Wayne Smith rounded off the top four positions in the overall standings. • Results in Results Section.
