He lo st a kin g size lead through this, but st\1l ca m e back to be in the bunch battlin g for the lead on the last lap. Mick 's second ra ce was a real disast er. Not icing h is front ti re wa s not fitted correctly, he was delighted when the st arter waved his hands ap paren tly to in dicat e a fal se .start. Mick pulled into pit lan e to rect ify th e fau lt w hile t he pack went round for the first lap.
