Even though the Hus qvama that Mike St eams was on came out the victor, there wa s ' still a constant pass and go game between Tom Cro ss (Suz) of Pre m ier Cy cle Research, Aaron Bassett (Hus) and Pat Nash (Mai) . J on Clopton is finally back int o racing action after a long break du e to an arm injury some time ago. He returned to DCIR, as h ot as ever , on his all red Honda 250 Elsinore to take the 250 Intermed iat e class. Clopton 's 3-2-1 finish gave h im th e win over T im Murphy (Mai), who was alway s on a Honda Elsinore in th e p ast , Mark Petty OBS ) an d Stephen Pigage (Mai). Th ird place winner Mark Petty may have won this race overall if it had n ' t be en for a . very nasty cras h r ight in fron t of the grandstands in the third mota .
