This moto showed Witt taking the chec ke red with Russell taking second. In th e 250 Expert race Billy Hatfield (Yam) won first pl ace over all on a 17 5 Yamaha. Jorski's bike broke bending a shock and leav ing him with no suspension. J orski did finish the race with a 13th place, giving him 5th overall. Hatfield however was very consistent with his third and second place finishes he took a first place overall. Bobby McDaniels finished with a second p lace overall . The 125 Novice race was a sight to see with nearly 30 bikes entered. This is usually the largest race of the night. All of the riders were very anxious to be the first to the comer.
