J ensen rode the moto out to an easy win followed in b y Racca and Troy Falk (Hon ). Moto two, Eddie Davis again got the scratch followed by Mark Gregson, Gary Ra cca, Troy ' Falk, and Kevin Jensen. On the second lap , Gregson had set up to pass Davis and for th e second time today he lost his chain. Davis rode on to win the moto followed in by Troy Falk, Kevin Jensen, and Gary Racca. Mar k Gregson an d Monte Mitch ell met today in tw o classes with No . 1 winning both the 2 50 and the Op en . Fowler was in seventh in the second lap . In the third lap , two riders all over each other stacked it up and Fowler, taking advantage, grabbed up third place. Putting the pressure on J ody Patterson in the second paid off in the seventh lap . On the che ckered flag lap Fow ler won a dice with Mik e McKe e (Y arn) wh o had held first for five laps. A t the fin ish it was Fo wler, McKe e and Paterson. In .the 25 0 Ex pert Ray Hubbar d an d Rick Schambler do wn ed it in the first turn for a restart. In a close , tight race, it was Dave Fari a, Ken Gray, Mike Freeman, Scharnbler and Jim Hubbard fo r the first couple of laps. Schambler relinquishcd fourth to Hubbard in the sec ond lap and in the th ird lap they both m ad e their move zapp ing it to Freeman. Leading the way p ast t he checkered flag was Fa ria foll owed by Gr ay, Hubbard and Sch arnbler . One o f t he hottest ra ces o f th e evening was the 3 60cc handicap. The holeshot went to Monty Heath but he was shot down in th e secon d lap by Dave Ryan . Ryan held o ff challenges by Chris Sauer and Dick Turner , in second and th ird resp ectively, for six laps. Sauer won the dice in th e ninth lap and sustained his drive to th e ch eckered. Turner, winning a nip and tu ck battle with Ryan, took ov er seco n d in the eleventh lap . Sauer, T ur ner and Ryan , in that order, finished a full half lap ahead of the fourth place rid er . • NorCal MX at Dixon By Steve Castillo DIXON.
