Team Captain J eff Sexton again led th e way to victory along with Dubb Ferrell, bo t h turning in eleven points. Mid way through the te am half of th e sh ow, the Ban d its ne w rider , J im Gre sham , ran in to Dean York, re serve rider fo r th e Sharks. It w as a hard crash wh ich left York hun. Gresham and York, bo t h from the Ventura area, are good friends. The crash cam e abou t be cause of a lack of experience and an ov erwhelmin g need to prove onessel f.
