Ahead of this group are Mike Parriott (Kaw 1000) and Jim Haberlin (Tri 1000), but Haberlin broke and Parriott was blackflagged for dropping oil before the fin.ish. Nobody else hung off quite like Mike Parriott on the Yoshimura R&D of America Kawasaki. Mike Baeder (170, Vam 750) looks over his shoulder to see who's knock, knock, knocking at his back door. It's Harry Klinzmann (21 on a 250 Vamaha in the 350-500-0pen GP race . Klinzmann later passed Baeder. Steve Mallon .. (49) leads Bob Endicott through tum 7A. Favorite Endic ott faded with tire troubles. Said Mallonee, "I wouldn't have wanted to be pressured any more than I was." Both ride Yamaha 750.. John Chermak won 200 Production after a race ·long battle with Killer DKW. Here, Chermak leads a group of mid ·packers in 350 Production. He used Yamahas in both races.
