AMC night final at OCIR By Joel Jamieson EAST IRVINE, CAL., MAR. 31 Piloting an ultra-quick YZ80, out of Harry's Cycle, Steve Shippy shook the Mini Pros with a three moto sweep while stylish Miller Mano ace, Dean Cates, nabbed second overall. Scott Watson was kept busy putting together three third place rides for a third overall. Jim Gallagher out-powered all the 100 Pros aboard an FMF prepped '76 Elsinore. Jim tucked the first two moto wins under his belt and just hung back in third for the final moto leaving Randy Skinner an d an ot her Harry's Cycle racer, Tim Murphy , to go at it for second and third place spots. Consistent rides paved Richee Collins' way to top 250 Pro on his sano Collins & Son KTM. Coll ins went 2-2-2 with second place man Aar on Bassett going 1-1-7.
