Missouri set the fastest time of the day
on his IlTSt try in the 250 class. His 6.30
second time proved to be unbeatable
even after the b ig bo ys were through.
Scholz's last run in the Exhibition class
set a 6.88 second time for second place.

The Hopkins family did a fine job of
making themselves known in Texas also.
-Jim the lit tle one, kicked. stomped and
rode his way to 22 5 feet in the mini mini
for a IlTSt. His big brother, Steve,
showed every one he kn ew how to ride
his 100 - Kaw asaki when he set a 9.03
seconds .on his first ride in the 100 class.
Steve also gave the men in the 200 class
a scare when he set a time of 7.76
sec onds, but Sunny Holmes found a
little more oomph in his BuItaco and
came up with a time of 7.64 seconds for
IITst.
As an extra added attraction the THA
added a one shot money class that was
