When spe ed wa y first st arted in the U.S. in 19 6 8 the AMA didn' t care a bo u t the sp ort. The prom oters o f speed way have gone through many hardships to bring speedway to 'where it is now. Now that speedway has developed into a go ld mine the AMA is havin g seco nd though ts. All the AMA wa n ts is a p iece of the action. 1f the AMA thinks they are hel p ing speedway wh y did th ey refuse to grant a san ction to t he chall enge series? it seems th at j ust ab ou t th e ti me you thin k yo u can make e n ds me e t , so mebody m oved t he goal posts ! It 's an eyesore. It's too bad th at people don 't take the time to consider h auling'their gar bage away.
