Tom Penton (Pen ) topped th e list
of Go ld Medal winners at the
opening round of the AMA
Two-Day Trial Series with a score
of 1,884.5. Penton was followed
in the February 29 Forked River,
N.J. event by Rod Bush (Pen) and
Frank Gallo (Pen). Of the 265
riders starting the East Coast Enduro
Riders event, 144 finished with 53
copping Gold Medals.
