Wilso n, Ken t Sp ratt (Suz) and Arnold Plant fough t in round two for t he first few lap s. When Pat 's tire le t go , Sp ra tt on t he Strictly Dirt Suzuki got the lead . Arnold Plant, rid ing a borrowd Yamah a , was held t o a fo u rt h in the first m oto b y a dragging cl utch a nd ended fourth. However, Plan t fixed the bik e and we n t o n to ch alle nge Spratt 's lead. Fo r t wo laps Arnold trailed Sp ratt before tu rning the wick o n and ta king the moto victory. Ken n y Spratt held on to second while Eddie Brown repeated his first m o t o t hird.
