The Californ ia Endu ro Association (CEA) settled their litigation with the BLM just in time to file for a permit for this year's two day event. The CEA billed the enduro as a "timekeepe rs" event much to the disappointment of the top enduro ' riders. They wanted a tough enduro to sort out number one with so many poin ts (400 for an overall wi n) at stake. They knew one littl e m istake during an easy time keep ers event would put th em out of the running.
