American River study - Nat'l. trials site up for grabs? T he U.S. Fo rest Service has selec ted a 4 6-m ile s tretc h o f California 's North Fork American River for study to determine wheth er it sh ould b ecome a part of th e n ational Wild and Scenic Rivers system .
