The second moto bel onged to Gary Potts (Hon) all the way. Elledge moved up from ab out fifth to second behind Potts, but hit the mud in the same spot Davis had, on Rainier Jump. When the flag . went up it was Potts, Gregson , Simmons. Can adian Larry MacKenzie (Yam) made duck soup out of the Open Pro class winning both motos straigh t across. WASH. , NOV. 30 Ed Davis, sporting a new RM Suzy, won the Open Pro, the Dash for Cash and then finished off his award winning act with a 125 Pro second overall. In the two lap Dash for Cash, winner take all, -he grabbed the lead from the gate and the only challenge came from Rick Weidman (Hon) on the start. Weidman had his share of ground duty but he still made it, two in a row for first over all in the 250 Pro division. The 125 Pro moto s were action packed with tigh t races and position changes in midpack. Gary Racca (Hon) h oleshot the start both times out and held off Ed Davis (Hon) for the duration. The positions didn't change but racing was WFO and tight. Every move was accurate or the rider peckin' at the fender would gladly take your place.
