Alan Christain was the shining star of the North after taking the high point Handicap troph y and some extra cash. Christain too k seco nd to Steve B in the Scratch h eat and third in the semi to make the Consolation. He was leading the event but got a little sideways, a little more sideways on the next lap, and enough sideways on the last lap to sm ack the conc rete wall and left his John Fisher J awa looking like a badass snake. Steve Gresham easil y took the Consy after winning the Handicap Main and promptly dumped it in the first corner righ t after the chec kered . Mike Bast topped brother Steve in the Scratch Main . Ted got a lit tl e help from his friends after leader Ben King bailed off in th e righthander. ' Woods took his RM370 to a second for top money of the day.
