The rest 0 f the ra ce was done dead engine , As th ey coasted toward s the fini sh the st ands were goi ng nu ts. Bonnie Truett crossed th e line first, with a 25 seco nd ET. That is a new world 's record. The slowest speed ever to win a top fuel event. His trap sp eed was to o slow to register o n th e mac hine. The two that survived the sem i fin als we re T .C.
