Ko ch gra b bed th e lead again in the second mota but w as soon passed by Glen Urquhart as Sha un Ke lly trai led in th ird . The mota ended with Urquhart o ut fro nt but Koch (1,2) secure d firs t overall. Shaun Kel ly (2,3) slipped into seco nd as Ura uhart (6 ,1) was held to th ird ahead o f Dean Henrickson (7,4). A fir st mota pileup saw several top co ntenders ge t free medical attention but Bar ry Duncan (1,3) see me d unconcerned as h e to pped the 25 0 I Expert class. Alle n Humphrey (2,4) too k ho me second place cas h ahead of Tracy Kn igh ton (5,2) an d Phill ip Yarabrough (6, 7). Bill Gree n (2 ,1) o nce again top ped the Open Exp er t clas s despi te effort fr om Kei th Duffy , J ames Ti dwell , and Ph illip Yarab ro ugh . J am e s Ti dwell (3,2 ) placed a safe seco nd ahead of Phillip Yarabrough (4,3). Keith Duffy easily won the first m o ta but a twel fth in the seco nd mota held h im to fourth overall.
