motocross that throbbed across
the torturous landscape of Carlsbad's USGP circuit. It was true

with hordes of kids flagging (a mixed
bag, sometimes), motos going off in

announcing, and always that throbbing
staccato of the thu mpers. Hardly a
two-stroke in earshot. If past is prologue
for the future, the event falls into place
as a testing ground for the new/old
motocross of the future.
This first crop of thurnpercrossers is
kinda crude, kinda slow, very much in
need
of
the
latest
leading-axle
super-rigid forks and LTR, but bags of
fun. Especially the 125s.
