Will Harper (Mai) t ook home th e win in th e 25 0 Expert di visio n over J oe Root (Oss) and Jeff Blix (Bu l). Hondas ruled in the 125 Expert event with TIm Lunde taking first, Mike Pillar second, and Jim Hale th ird. Only three riders co m p e ted in the " Ch ief or the Dunes " half-time ra ce . Each week, AME alternates running Experts a n d J uniors. This week, Junior Paul Christensen claimed th e title beating out Mike Rena. Third went to Mike Nation ab oard a Rokon, one o f th e st ra ngest dirt bikes around, n o clutch an d a pull starte r !
