As a part of the ope ning night of the annual county fair, BBA, Inc. bro ught in th e pro s for a nigh t on th e half mile hard track. While the lights left a lo t to be desired, the trac k surface left all the riders with big grins. The fair has invited the pro show back for 1976. Scott Pearson came out the shi ning ligh t fo r the combined J unior / Expert Main after stealing th e show fro m Dave Hansen. Hansen very nearly wo und up in th e cheater 's box on t he sta rt of th e 15-lap Main when he overread starte r Pop a do rn and was third-gearing it in to tum one when th e green flew. a dorn p ulle d out the red and tried it one more time despite plantiff pl eas from two ride rs to p u t the Har ley rider in th e box.
