It was a fantastic performance. Larry Roeseler and Bruce Ogilvie teamed together to blast through dust 'n dirt to capture both class and overall motorcycle titles in the S.C.O.R.E. 400-mile Baja Internacional. Their winn ing time: a remarkable 8 hrs. 16 min. 52 sec. But that wasn 't all. They fin ished ahead of nearly 300 specially designed and built dune bugg ies, trucks and 4-wheel drive vehicles to gain an overall second place for the event. And, after 400 miles, the SX-250 was still running strong! This endurance story is even more astounding because the winn ing dune buggy couldn 't finish the race under its own power.
