Christian Craig (Hon) (Below) Many are comparing 16-year-old Jett Lawrence (Geico Honda) to riders such as Travis Pastrana, James Stewart, Ricky Carmichael and Ryan Villopoto, who, like Lawrence, all made immediate impacts when they started their pro careers as young rookies. Lawrence was thrilled to visit the SLC podium for the first time Sunday following his come-from-behind third-place finish in the 250SX West main event. He passed many more experienced racers than him along the way, including his older brother, Hunter. CN (Above) Yes, you could say that Forkner is just returning some old business to Dylan Ferrandis (1W), who gave Forkner the bump-and-run treatment a couple of times earlier this season. Ferrandis finished second to Forkner on Wednesday and was in good position to win on Sunday until, "I made a mistake, not jumping when I saw the yellow flag," Ferrandis said. "That cost me a few seconds and broke the gap, and [Forkner] was able to attack me on the next lap."
