Championship resumed
Wednesday night and
the time off didn't seem
to heal any animosity
between some of the
riders. There was a lot of
bumping and shoving on
the track, including one
with Hunter Lawrence
and Austin Forkner,
and another with Jett
Lawrence and Forkner,
and a couple more with
Dylan Ferrandis and
Forkner. There seems to
be a pattern here. Forkner
(52) ran Jett Lawrence
(83) off the track through
the first turn in a heat
race Sunday. Forkner led
wire to wire Wednesday
and then made a big pass
on Ferrandis—knocking
him off the track in the
process—in the final to
get Sunday's win, as well.
"You know, [Ferrandis]
would've done the same
thing—he's done the same
thing to me, so, you know,
I mean, all's fair. It's racing.
Nothing against them.
I'm not trying to be best
friends, but I don't want
everyone not to like me."
