Yamaha High School Motocross State Championship . Yamaha Bicycle Gold Cup State Championship Yamaha thinks it's about time high school motocross riders receive as muc h recogni tion as other high school athletes, After all. over 150,000 high school students throughout the country compete in moto cross on a regular basis, So, for the first time ever. every high school stud ent in this area who's an am ateur rider can compete for the Yamaha High School Motocross State Championship. As co nte nders for the State Cha mpionship, yo u'll get the chance to compete in on e of four events: 100cc, 125cc, 25 0cc a nd Open in Beginner, J unior and Expert Classes .Top finishers will receive scholarships, trophies and prizes. All you have to do is qualify at an y of the region al qualifying tracks listed below, And ifyou're as good as you think you are, we'll see you at the State Championship a t Yamah a Dirt Days. It's wher e you'll get the chan ce to compe te in front of tho usands of spectators. And it'swhere you'll get recognition as being o ne of the best MX riders in the State. If you want to expe rience real exciteme nt, come on out to the Yam ah a Bicycle Gold Cup races. You won' t be lieve what you ca n do with a bicycle: Stre ak down straightaways. fly off long jumps, an d even slog through mud and water holes . In fact. you can do everything grown'up motocross racers do, except you do it with ped al power. It's wild a nd challenging, And if you q ua lify at any of the regional races listed below, you'll get the cha nce to co mpe te for troph ies a nd prizes at the Yamah a Bicycle Gold Cup State Charnpion ship to be held at Yam aha Dirt Days.
