There we re onl y about five laps left in the Grand Prix an d Malh erbe looked ce rtain to win the secon d moto , It had been a two' man race fo r m ost of th e mota and Gaston Rah ier was in terested in keeping it th a t way. Again he resume d his attack on Malherbe, who is eight years Rahier's junior. Wit h five minutes left in the Grand Pri x, Gast on was abou t - six seconds behin d. Then Andre Malherbe bounced o ut of th e stream up the fo llowing hill and m issed a sh ift. He nearl y pitch ed off the Zunda p p as Gast on came righ t up be hind hi m . He 's done all or p art of four seasons in t he 250cc class.
