Gaston Rah ier has won three out of the first fo ur 12 5 GP motos an d is in ex celle nt men tal and phy sical shape. He is co ming o ut o f the shadow of other well-known Su zu ki-mounted Belgians like DeCoster and Ro bert to earn a World Champion ship in his own right. Gaston was a little sic k in Britain and says he can go faster. Unless somebody ge ts injured, the race fo r 125cc World Champ will be an all-Belgian affair with possible spoiler roles to CZ factory rider Antonin Baborovsky and the gentle Japanese Akira Watanabe, Rah ier's Suzuki teammate. Th e 125cc class is still , however, ripe pickins' for some o f the more talen ted American riders. It 's a da m n shame they lack the matu rity , or in tere st , or support necessary to race in the World 125cc Championship . . The U.S . 125 Grand Prix at Mid- Oh io shoul d prove very in teresting.
