Desert Striders y ie lded to the jinx of
we ather that has characterized th e
c1ub's spring even ts for the past few
years.
As usual , the we ather was only
threatening up until race time. so 175
ri der s roll ed out to give it a try . And as
usua l, the blizzard began during riders
meeting. The snow wasn't as deep as last
year, but the real problem is the struggle
for visib ility .
The co urse itse lf was a fun but no t
spe c ta cular tr ail on basically flat
country ' - a good breaking -in for the
new season of racin g. Whoop-de.
