Evel campaign yell 1976 *********************** paid for by Citoyens for Evel, Marseilles, France 8 In light of the motorcycle daredevil craze that is sweeping the planet today , th e Floyd R eed production of the Death Riders Mo torcycle Thrill Show of Danville, Illinois is receiving much attention and they expect their popularity to grow at an accele rated pace . The Death Riders have appeared on television for NBC and ABC, including such shows as "Thrill Seekers, " "To Tell The Truth, uGO, n "Dialing For Dollars," and others. U Last summer Pyramid Studios of Hollywood, California sent a film crew traveling with the Death Riders for three months, filming their many death-defying stunts and shots of their personal lives, for a fulllength feature movie to be titled, " Star Spangled Bummer. " The film is scheduled fo r release this year. In 1975 the Death Riders are app earing at many colleges and universities. Their first show was at the University of Alabama March 2. They will pe rform at Louisville Downs, Kentuck /on April 6th, during the AMA Natio nal motorcycle race. A tour to oth er countries and appea rances at cou nty an d sta te f airs throughout the U.S. are on th e calendar this coming su mmer. Dep ending on the pro m ot ion , th e Death Riders show usually runs on e hour to an hour and a half. One of the sho w 's m ain attractions is th e Two-man J u m p (on one motorcycle) performed by Larry Mann and Dann y Reed. A few of the oth er stunts are The Human Bomb (blasted out of a wooden coffin by two sticks of dynamite), Tunnel Of Fire (40 to 75 feet long), ramp-to-ramp jump over cars, ram p-to-ground ju mp over cars, Peop le J u mp (30 to 45 people lying down as Larry Mann jumps ove r them from a two-foot high ramp), Slide For Life, and Flaming Dive Bomber.
