The minibik es rode on Saturday afternoon and were re ally having a tough time 1 maintaining momentum in the mud. Their race was mercifully shortened to five laps, whil e other clas ses went seven laps. Sunday 's con di ti ons were much better, with only light rain falling for short periods as the afternoo n wo re on. The .. un came out for the first time as the white flag was being given to riders of the last race of the weekend. SRA head Ron Vin cellette learned his lesson well from the las t team race and this time divided it into two parts, the 0·200cc b ikes going on Saturday an d the 250/0pen bash on Su n day. Sunday Terry Warre n an d Dean J o hn so n team ed up on a Takahashi-sp onsored 400 Monoshocker to win.
