In the first AMA Grand National
event of 1975, in the Houston Astrodome,
the Goodyear Eagle
continued its
domination of dirt track racing as Kenny
Roberts captured the IT title on Eagle
tires, front and rear. In the Short
Track event it was Darryl Hurst on a
rear. Both men led from the start.
As the '74 record shows, the Eagle
has compiled an impressive number
of first place finishes in AMA Grand
National Competition.
