The wor d t hat the Distric t clubs are agai n interested in beginners m ust have spread because t he Prosp ect ors received over 500 en trie s, more t han do uble th e n um ber wh o signed up for Dist rict enduros last fall . Wh ile t he Pro spectors in te n ded to entice "C" rider s to t heir event by giving t hem a ridabl e first lo op, t hey had no inten tio n of co dd ling the begi nners. The " C " loop was 45 miles long whi ch is as lo n g as both lo op s of so m e of th e family ro ns. While certainly ridable th e loop was not a b ab y cou rse. Bu t everyone seemed to make it, even a dude fro m on e of the monthlies who was dolled up in full length peacock-hued leathers, a Bell Star helmet an d fa ce shield. I think he was testing a b ik e on Ontario Speedway and miss ed a t um. While everyone agreed with the ide a of a ridable first loop, there was a good deal of dis altTeement abo ut the wisdom
