A hearing scheduled to consider a motorcycle race trespass o n national resource lands in eastern Kern Co un ty has been postp oned indefinitely while a possible settlement of damages is dis cussed. Boll , Bakersfield District 'Man ager for th e U.S. Bureau of Land Management, said the hearing had been scheduled to discuss the trespass, settlement of damages and possible criminal citation for trespass by local authorities. He said the ra ce sponsors and BLM had agreed instead to meet to negotiate an agreement on damages.
