Th e chart holder it self clamps to the cross bar and holds a po cket wat ch. Th e ro llers lif t o u t for easy loading of y our ro ll chart. The plast ic turnin g knobs are slippery in use a nd t urn a t a slo w ra tio. If yo u chart every minu te like I do , it 's har d to keep the min ut es up to d ate with the actual time. Filing some serra t io ns would help get a grip o n things. I would like to see Hillmart mak e a roll ch art holder without the wa tch h o ld er (fo r us 8-day clock use rs) so the width could be reduced. If yo u use th e poc ket wa tch holder feature it 's j us t fi ne. I used some different mountin g st ra ps to mount mine. You d o n ' t ge t th e clocks , speed 0 , or number plat e with it. We found another use fo r it . We had this DK W, see, and on the tri p over from the Black Forest or where ever, a whole bu nch of rus t form ed insid e th e gas tank. T his ru st flak ed off so bad fuel filters wouldn't stop it, no t even multiple be er -can size ca r fuel fil te rs. On to p o f that, re serve wouldn 't wo rk 'cau se r ust parti cles bloc ked o ff th e reserve scree n o f th e petcock. What did we d o ? Clean o ut th e 't an k with soap and water , rin se we ll, let dry for several day s, and ap p ly six coats of this stuff. Tha t's roughly twen ty doll ars wo rth , no t co unti ng th e first coat which flak ed off 'cause we didn 't bac k it u p with o ther coats the first ti me aro und. The man y coats of this sickly -y ellow liquid-turn ed -vrubber" has co ntained th e rust, and no more lit tl e flakes show up in the car bo It worked where a plas tic tan k wouldn't (b eing illegal in Productio n road raci ng) and solved the pro bl em .
