Rut having subscribed to yo ur paper fo r the pa st four yea rs and having gone through some of the o ld is sues, I find your present publ ication reall y lackin g feeling. The point I'm getting to is the Golden Gat e Mile held September 20th. Having paid 527 for tickets and then not being allowed to brin g t he food and drink s we had brought with us into th e trac k b ec au se th e cat erer wanted to . flee ce us wi th his pr ices has left a very bad taste in my mo ut h (no pun intended ). I think the promoter should sta te in th e advertisement wh ether or no t food and drin k will be ad mi tted. In you r case , possibly yo u co uld find o u t when accep ting t he advertise me n t.
