In 250 Pro action , j eff jennings (lio n) was clearly the fastest rider present. In the first moto it was a jennings runaway with Willilarper (CZ) hanging on for second. Harper grabbed th e lead o ut of th e hole in the seco nd moto and held the lead as lo ng as his pipe was firmly in place (ab o ut on e lap). jennings took over for the duration t hereafter with Harp er limping in for second. Jennings got a horrendous start as the th ird m o to got underway, running in ab ou t fifth, Harp er was out in the lead with Dave Fo ltz (Hus) in second. It took two lap s fo r J en n ings to move into a spot behind Ho lt z an d the n ou t accelerate him ou t of a co rner. A lap later. Jennings passed Harper in mid-air to make it a gra nd-slam for t he evening.
