The secret of preparing dirt tracks that will stand up to a day's racing is, start with a smooth sub-surface, treat it with Paczyme (a chemical developed for making roads and runways on mud and tundral and then layer six inches of d irt surface over that, a half-an-inch at a time, rolling and watering each layer, and spread calcium chloride on the last four layers.
