Team Honda 's Rich Eierstedt is
back . Last year's Trans -AMA 250cc
champion put on quite a show for one of
the biggest motocross c ro wds of the
season gathered for this year 's Carlsbad
Grand Prix.Rich has been sidelined much
of this racing season with a br oken leg
sustained early in the camp aig n. At
Carlsbad, he proved he's all well ag ain.
Unexpected light showers made
for a fast track. But that's the way Rich
a nd his Honda Elsinore 1M 250 like it.
The y took a close second in the first
250 moto. Then out powered an d outraced the field for a first in the second.
Winner overall. A big field, a big crowd,
a big welcome ba ck to the winner's circle
for Rich Eiersted t and his Honda Elsinore.
