A 10·yard dash, one boot at your kick starter if you're lucky and a mighty roar sent you hurtling off toward the first turn of an hour's racing.
That first turn sorted out the mob, encountering the only dust problem on the whole course.
These ladies were out taking pictures so we switched lenses.
Most of the course was fast, bumpy dirt road and
there was always somebody to race with.
