By La rry Langley
You know the scene. Y ou're sitting in your camp
sipping a nice, co ld one after a long, hot ride and
just plain relaxing when all of a sudden all hell breaks
loose. It sounds like a Hare and Hound justwent right
through you r camp . Pick ing yoursel f up , you ask your
faithful companion, "What happened ?" .
"It's that damn kid on his unmuffled Yamahonak i
again. It's the third time today he's come blasti ng
through camp." "Well ," you ponder, " if he comes
t hrough again, I'll fix his lit t le old wago n."
Deviou s th oughts about variou s torture methods stare
runni ng t hr ough you r mind . It's t im e to put the old
imagination to work stopping that malady called " Pit
Racing," the Comp et ition Campsite Number One Enemy .
We've noted a few of th e more positive ways to
curb a pit racer in the accompanying photos. There
are numberous other lessdrastic w ays to st op it but
we have found these notably effective in cur ing pit
racers of the ir vile and unnatural acts.
