Jon Zi mme rman (H o n) . Zimmerman led

throughou t the final with second
pla ce Yarrow (Ya m) , Dave Faria
(Oss) , J erry Blan d (Bu l) , a nd Bill Bisel
(Suz ) follo w ing closely .
Ya rr ow (Ya m) won the 360·500
Exper t class in cludi ng his qualifyi ng
he at wh ere hi s brother A lle n Yarrow
(Ya m) fe ll, and Jerry Kole ran off the
tr ack. T hey returned to the r ace
finis h ing last a n d still tran sfered to th e
fin al . In the fin al . Duan e held the lead
wit h Ron Kesler (S uz) doing the chasin g
and All en Y arrow m ovin g up for thi rd .

(T ri) fini shed one-two in the 650 Expert
class, but they didn't have to compete

and closed o n the highl y ra ted short
track E xp ert at th e finish . Sacramento

Forty-ni ne entries in t he m in icycle
races swelled th e total program t o more
than 270 riders, an increase o f 70 riders
in one week.
