Anotber big upper for Yamaha

was Hakan Andersson's World
Championship in 250 motocross. For a
guy who was told his racing career was
probably over back in 1968, his
courageous comback and controlled,
quick riding was a definite plus. And it
seems, as much as Joel is respected, that
most everybody was ready for a new
250 motocross champion.

Anglo-American match series, Gary
Nixon's three national road race wins in
a row, and Cliff Carr finally getting into
the winner's circle at laguna Seca.

Nude trophy girls at the
Malibu Country Club
motocross gave a new
look to that aspect of the sport and
were definite uppers. It may have been
an idea before its time, ~d to say. Sure
had lots of rider appeal.
