Following in the footsteps of Russ Sanford, M.O.R..E. of California President, the Arizona Chapter of M.O.R.E. has withdrawn from any affiliation or connection with the Tucson based National organization. Jack Sheahan, Arizona Chapter Exec" tive Director ar.mounced today that it has been an impossible situation even with the National headquarters located one hundred and twenty five miles away to maintain a line .of open communications. The complete lack of understanding or knowledge of Legislative and Larid Use policies by the National. offices has added to the already pr<:.valen t feeling of the Arizona Club that membership fees solicited should be based upon a demonstrated track record. Sheahan added that the Arizona Club is fully operational with offices located in Phoenix. The prese,n staff includes a full time Lobbyist and Land Use Represenative, a special services and membership co-ordinator, a club events director and public relations, along with a staff secretary. • . . , Less of M.O.R.E.
