The fellow shown hen: is Bob Cuitin with his VW trike. He is just entering Saddleback Park when: his son Bob and a friend regularly enter AMC's Saturday events in the 100 Beginner class. The trike was built by Cuitin who is one of the movers of "Trikes", a shop in Cypress, California that builds, you guessed it, trikes. it uses a 1600 VW engine, Yamaha 250 front end, and a frame based on the stock VW. Cahle steering brakes are employed. The stock Volk-Bugger transmission is used and Bob says that the machine will cruise safely at over 100 MPH. .
