OLD DUDES THAT USE TO MAKE CYCLE NEWS GREAT
(That is to say, before we achieved our present state of greatness.)
This Week:
-'
WILHELMINA nerolY Willie" WINDJAMMER
Wilhelmina was our ace bike tester of the 30s. It was her job to keep our readers informed about the latest models. She
popularized such journalistic gems as: "The forks.are the best of of any we've seen." and "The gearshift is smooth and
positive and performed flawlessly throughout the test," and who will ever forget "The bike was at home both on the road
and off." Crazy Willie (we called her that) is shown testing the 1933 Sohami UR-2 MX,
Today, people like Wilhelmina are still testing and testing so that our readers know what to look for when buying a
machine. Isn't it time you got in the know and subscribed to Cycle News?

(SAZ -O-N OTE: 1 I haven't the slightest idea what the creepy little thing on the back is, but as all. my friends know, I
had nothing to do with it.)
