The Valley Observed Trials Enthusiasts
put on an excellent event today with
finishing places going towards
detennination of the California State
. Champion.
The majority of the traps were set up
in and beyond the river direc tly behind
the SHadow Glen motocross course
allowing a great number of spectators
and motocross freaks to get a real idea
of wh;lt observed trials is all about.
The traps were just terrific as each
division of riders (Novice. Amateur,.
Expert, Master, women and kids) had an·
appropriate number of sections, and
they were extremely challenging yet not
impossible.
The MX'ers who came by for a look
were really gelling blown away
watching some of the Masters negotiate
their sections. Some were so stoked that
their chins were hanging below their
Jofa's. They had plenty of reason to feel
that way as Jordi Permanyer, Kevin
Walker, and Rich Bledsoe really put on
a demonstration of their mastery of
machine and terrain to finish 1,2,3 for
the day's event.
