The managemen t of the Arroyo track, like many others, have been making changes in the course from time to time. Most riders like the variations and are happy for the change, recognizing that it helps keep a few riders from getting the track ,wired and provides an e1emen t of surprise for all. The lady of the day was Cory Madison, riding a Yamaha. She was three for three at the end of the day easily winning each of her motos. Shawn Huffman, DKW, turned in a flawless performance, winning his in lermediale division. Sh.awn looks Photo by Danny Knott better every time he rides. He has beautiful control straightening out the crooked stuff, and that easy style seen in much older and more experienced riders. The Old timers Cycle Club, rode their first CRC race. We hope they'll get the CRC habit' as they are a joy to have around. Other winning riders that are really looking good were, James Kimura (Yam), 100 Beginner; Dennis Rose, 125 Beginner-Under 16 on a DKW; and 100 Novice rider KurtJensen (Hod). Gregg Bums (BSA),John Louis (Cl), and Jeff Jennings (Yam) finished one-two-three in the Open Novice-Under 16.
