John Gennai looks happy, and won the Main. three laps left to go, Hateley got knocked down trying to pass, and Greg· Hodges (Bul) took over third as a frustrated Hateley ended up trailing the pack. After a grinning Gennai was presented with his second trophy of the evening and had once more demonstrated his expertise at kissing trophy girls, the stage was set for the appearance of Super Joe Einhorn. Jumping indoors for the first time since his serious accident a few months ago, Super Joe kept the crowd waiting for over half an hour, but when he did appear he was all smiles and eager to plug the movie that is soon to be made about him. Although the crowd was exceptionally rude and jeered him throughout his opening speech and preliminary practice runs, Super Joe never lost his cool. His jump was perfect as he hit the landing ramp without a wobble and rode it out after the landing with apparent ease.
