inspection of turn two and three
revealed one belluva mess. The turns
were scraped and approved by aU
concerned. Each rider was allowed three
more laps of practice and if everything
looked good, the show was on.
Time, trials were on their way by
2:10 as track officials and the AMA
were working feverishly to get the show
over before the rain came. Jim Rice set
the fastest Expert time at 2-5.06 and
Chluley Seale, the second fastest with
25.34. Ken Roberts bad the fast Junior
time.
